Before anything else, I’m a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, and a friend. I’m someone who’s spent my life balancing a deep commitment to others with a growing love and understanding of myself.
I met my husband, Kurt, when we were just kids—high school sweethearts. We’ve grown up together in the truest sense. Through moves, deployments, and new chapters in life, we’ve built something strong and beautiful: a partnership based on love, laughter, and loyalty. Together, we’re raising our daughter, Kieran, who’s in kindergarten and already showing us how bright, curious, and fearless the next generation is.
Motherhood changed everything for me. It softened me in places I didn’t know were hard and strengthened me in ways I never expected. Every day, Kieran reminds me of what matters—being present, being honest, and showing up with love. She’s the heartbeat of our home.
Family has always been my foundation. I come from strong women and hard-working people. They taught me to be proud of who I am, to work with purpose, and to give without expectation. Those lessons stayed with me through long nights studying to become a nurse anesthesiologist, and during my years of active-duty service in the U.S. Army. They’re with me still when I hold my daughter’s hand walking to school or sit down for dinner with Kurt after a long shift.
Life hasn’t always been easy. There have been moments of doubt, sacrifice, and stillness. But what I’ve learned is that our truest strength comes not from perfection—but from showing up for ourselves and the people we love, day after day.
I’m still growing, still learning. And I’m grateful—grateful for my family, for my journey, and for every chapter yet to be written.
Thanks for letting me share a little of my story with you. 💛
